In the summer of 2009 Citizens Research began an on-going study gathering data from jury eligible citizens from thirty-two of the most litigious states in the U.S. The survey includes forty questions designed to gather individuals’ perceptions of our judicial system, lawyers and lawsuits, specific case issues, corporations - including insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies, Wall Street and our political system. As of September 2009, we have received feedback from 670 participants. This group is a part of the initial phase of this research survey. New respondents will be added to the survey through the end of the year. At the same time, additional questions will be included to reflect continuing concerns of our legal system and corporate industry to maintain a current and relevant data collection.
